The First President of The Trust

The late 11th Duke of Devonshire - Reedham's first President - wrote the following message in support of the work of our Trust - sentiments that remain as true today as they did when they were written.


A message from The First President of The Reedham Trust .....

Andrew, 11th Duke of Devonshire

For the past 160 years The Reedham Foundation has helped many thousands of boys and girls whose young lives have been adversely affected by tragic circumstances within the family.  Sadly the need is no less today, as you will read on the page of this Website entitled "Our Successes".

Due to lack of funds, The Reedham Trust is just not able to help all those who seek its support, but with your assistance it will be able to provide that crucial help to more of those in desperate need.

I am privileged to be closely associated with the truly remarkable and caring work carried out by the dedicated members of the Trust, and thank you in anticipation for your valued interest and support.  It really will make a positive difference to children in desperate need of a helping hand.

I wholeheartedly commend the work of this charity to you as being worthy of whatever generous donation you feel able to make.
